Wide Anchor: Gravity Lines

A physics puzzle where space never sits still.
So basically everything's floating around and pulling on
each other.
Sounds easy enough, but trust me - it's trickier than you'd
think: tap to anchor shapes in place before the whole
scene slips out of balance.

Concept

I kept wondering - what if you could actually see gravity? Not like equations or whatever, but actual lines. In Gravity Lines, the shapes float around randomly - kinda hard to predict where they'll go. You don’t drag them around or smash them into place. You're basically trying to stabilize everything. Drop an anchor here, another one there, and slowly you turn this mess into something that actually makes sense. It’s not about speed. It’s about awareness.

The Loop

  • Watch the Drift

    Watch the Drift

Shapes move slowly, but they never truly stop. Every object influences the others in subtle, constant motion.

  • Tap to Anchor

    Tap to Anchor

Place anchors to lock key shapes in position. Each anchor changes the physics of the entire system.

  • Solve the Balance

    Solve the Balance

Use limited anchors wisely. Stability isn’t about stopping everything — it’s about creating equilibrium.

Mechanics

Floating geometric shapes governed by soft physics Limited anchors per level — every tap matters Momentum and gravitational pull that evolve as you play Collision zones and instability fields Clean scoring based on efficiency and precision Instant restarts for fast experimentation One small placement can reshape the entire system. That’s where the tension lives.

Mechanics

Visual Atmosphere

Black. Neon. Quiet Pressure.

The world is minimal on purpose. Deep black space surrounds thin neon edges and subtle glowing gravity lines. Shapes rotate slowly, as if suspended in a controlled vacuum. Sound design stays restrained — soft pulses, precise clicks, low ambient hums. You hear your decisions as much as you see them. We figured all that flashy stuff would just get in the way, you know?

No scoring. No pressure. Just balance, motion, and experimentation in an endless drifting field.

FAQ

Is it difficult?
It starts gently and introduces its rules through motion rather than instructions. Early levels are designed to help you understand how objects influence each other. As you progress, complexity increases naturally through layered gravitational pulls and tighter stability margins. When it gets hard, it doesn't feel cheap or anything - just challenging
Do I need fast reflexes?
No. The game rewards observation and anticipation more than reaction speed. Shapes move steadily, giving you time to read the system before acting. Precision matters more than rushing. It's all about timing - knowing exactly when to drop that anchor.
What exactly is an anchor?
An anchor is a limited placement that locks a shape into position. When you anchor one object, the gravitational balance shifts across the entire field. It doesn’t freeze the world — it reshapes it. Understanding that ripple effect is the core of the game.
Are there time limits?
Most levels are designed to be calm and deliberate. You can take your time studying motion and planning placements. Some optional challenges introduce subtle pressure for players who enjoy tension. The main progression, however, remains focused on thoughtful play.
Can I play offline?
Yes, the core experience is fully playable offline. The puzzles are self-contained and don’t rely on constant connectivity. This makes it ideal for short sessions anywhere. Stability doesn’t require a signal.
Is there a perfect solution?
Smoother stability can improve your score. The system encourages experimentation. Sometimes the “perfect” solution is the one that feels most elegant to you.
